About the Trust

The Trust was formed in 1997 and its objectives are to :-

  • To stimulate interest in the history of cycling.
  • Provide an educational service to young people.

The Trust is staffed by volunteers who provide the time and hard work needed to keep the museum alive.

Displays of cycles from the museum have featured at various important places and events,  including Hampton Court Palace, The Cycle Show, The Royal Welsh Show etc...

The museum has also been shown on National TV.

The Museum is financed by:

  • Admission Charges
  • Friends Subscriptions
  • Display Fees and Donations

There are no paid staff.

The museum costs approx £25.000 p.a. in rent. and general running costs

The Trust is registered with the Charity Commision as charity 511257.
