OPENING HOURS ARE 10.00AM-4.00PM
From 1st April to the end of October , the museum will normally be open Tuesdays, Wednesdays , Thursdays and Fridays.
NB it will be closed on Good Friday

The museum is planned to be open on the following Saturdays - 11th April , 18th July and 29th August
LLANDRINDOD WELLS IS ON THE VERY SCENIC HEART OF WALES RAILWAY ROUTE
Please contact the museum before visiting to confirm open days if you are making a special journey.
We are normally closed Saturdays and Sundays but we can usually accomodate Groups ( minimum 15 people) at weekends/ evenings or weekdays not normally open, by prior arrangement. A charge of £4 per adult will apply - contact us on 01597 825531 for details of this service.
Doors Open 10am - last admission 3.30pm. Doors Close 4.00pm.

There is wheelchair access throughout the museum, a disability parking bay outside the building and suitable toilet facilities adjoining the museum. Wheelchairs, some powered, are available to hire from Disability Powys, also in the Automobile Palace.
Dogs are very welcome in the museum
The National Cycle Museum is well sign posted on all routes into Llandrindod Wells, motorists should follow the brown "Penny Farthing" signs to the car park at the rear of the Museum.
The Collection houses hundreds of cycles in period settings, including examples from 1819 through to the present day. It also displays rare components and accessories from this period.
The National Cycle Museum welcomes visits from schools in the locality, items are also available for film & TV productions.
Toilet facilities are available within the building during weekdays only.

BICYCLES FOR SALE
There will be some surplus bicycles and spares from the stores for sale at THE MUSEUM OPEN DAY ON SATURDAY 11TH APRIL 2015- more details to follow.
FREE UV SECURITY MARKING
Museum staff will continue to offer this free service to the public between 10am-4pm on open days. Please call in with your new or not so new bicycle and have it security marked.
SCHOOL OUTREACH SERVICE
The museum has a school outreach service visiting primary and secondary schools . Children love it . A charge is made to cover costs

Can You Help?
We would appreciate donations of interesting and unusual cycles in very good condition , cycling memorabilia as well as cycling books or catalogues.
NB we are not able to purchase bicycles and very rarely accept bicycles and other items on loan
