Well worth looking at

"My wife dragged me in against my judgement. She then had to drag me out. I loved it. It bought back many old biking memories that I had forgotten. It's a must if you are in the area. They have obviously put a lot of effort into this."

Well worth a visit

"This is a little gem of a collection, set a short walking distance from the centre of town (and apparently with parking too out the back). Adult tickets are £4 a piece but we felt it was money well spent. The collection itself is fascinating, well laid out and well documented and the staff are incredibly helpful and knowledgeable."

Fascinating Collection - Well worth a detour...

"We only visited this museum because we were looking for a stop on a journey and we saw National Cycle Collection marked on our road atlas. We are so pleased that we did stop here! We are interested in cycling but this museum would also be of interest to anyone who is not so keen. It is a fantastic collection..".

Lots of bikes!

"Excellent for cyclists. Amazing collection including historic bikes, etc.. Run on a voluntary basis..."

Hidden Gem

"Fantastic collection of cycles from the early 19th century to the present day. The collection is looked after by a team of dedicated volunteers and beautifully presented to emphasise the development and social impact of the bicycle over the years. Whether you are a keen cyclist or have an interest in transport and social history in general, you will not be dissapointed."

Of Interest To Everyone

"Even if you are not a keen cyclist you are sure to find something of interest here. Well worth a visit if you are in the area. The volunteers are keen to pass on their knowledge and more than happy to answer any questions.Value for money exhibition."

Very interesting and a great find

I have known about this place for years but struggled to find the opportunity to make the trip - but have now done so and it was well worth the wait. The collection is superb in terms of its breadth, variety and size and housed in a building that is worth the visit on its own.

Lovely find for a cycling enthusiast - bonus being dog friendly.

We were wandering around Llandrindod Wells, the weather was not great and my partner and I along with our dog we intrigued to find a sign for The National Cycling Museum. We drove up the side street and parked in the car park at the back of the building which happens to be free...
